The FCCA Winter Training Programme 2026/27 returns to Imberhorne School, East Grinstead, from the third weekend of September 2026.
Our winter programme is designed to give young cricketers the structured, high-quality coaching they need to keep developing throughout the off-season.
Whether your child is starting their cricket journey, developing at club level, or already playing county and representative cricket, FCCA provides an environment where players can improve their technique, decision-making, confidence and overall understanding of the game.

🏏 Places are limited — book early to secure your preferred session.
A Proven Player Development Programme
Over the past year, FCCA has worked with more than 125 young cricketers, helping players progress across club, county and representative cricket.
For us, development is about much more than simply hitting more balls.
Our coaching focuses on helping players understand their game, develop strong technical foundations and build the skills required to perform consistently under pressure.
Every early morning, late evening and cold winter training session is worthwhile when we see our players progressing and enjoying their cricket.
The 2026/27 winter programme will once again combine:
One-to-one coaching
Small-group training
Age-specific development groups
Advanced player coaching
Technical batting and bowling development
Match-specific practice
Decision-making and game awareness
Individual player development

Why Train with FCCA?
At FCCA, our priority is long-term player development.
We want players to understand not only what they are doing, but why they are doing it.
Our coaching encourages players to build strong technical foundations while developing the ability to make their own decisions in match situations.
The ultimate aim is to help players develop towards unconscious competence — where good technique, movement and decision-making become natural rather than something they have to consciously think about during a game.
We focus on:
Strong batting fundamentals
Better balance and movement
Effective bowling techniques
Decision-making
Match awareness
Playing different types of bowling
Building confidence
Understanding individual strengths
Developing adaptable cricketers rather than robotic players
Limited Winter Availability
FCCA currently works with approximately 125–150 players, but we have only 17 hours of indoor training available each week.
This means our winter programme has very limited capacity.
Once a particular session or group becomes full, we may not be able to offer additional places unless another player cancels.
⚠️ We strongly recommend booking early.
If you have a preferred day, time or coaching group, please contact us as soon as possible.
Train This Winter. Perform Next Summer.
Winter is where a huge amount of cricket development happens.
Without the pressure of weekly matches, players have the opportunity to work on technical changes, experiment, learn and build the skills they will need when the new season begins.
The work you put in during the winter can make a huge difference when you walk out to bat, bowl or field the following summer.
