FCCA High Performance Cricket Training Tour to India – Easter 2027
First Class Cricket Academy (FCCA) is delighted to announce an exciting High Performance Cricket Training Tour to India for Easter 2027, organised by FCCA in collaboration with Coaching Beyond.
Taking place between 20 March and 9 April 2027, the tour will give young cricketers the opportunity to experience a high-performance training environment in Chennai and Hyderabad - combining specialist coaching, individual player development, strength and conditioning, video analysis and competitive cricket.
For players serious about developing their game, this is an opportunity to experience cricket in a country where the sport is part of everyday life.
More Than a Cricket Tour
The FCCA High Performance Training Tour has been designed as a genuine player-development experience rather than simply a cricket holiday.
Players will be taken outside their normal training environment and challenged to adapt to different conditions, facilities, surfaces and styles of cricket.
Training in India also provides an opportunity to experience a different cricketing culture and gain a greater understanding of the preparation and commitment required to perform at a high level.
The aim is simple: help players return as better, more knowledgeable and more adaptable cricketers.
Mentored and Curated by International Coaches
One of the standout features of the programme is the experience behind it.
The High Performance Training Tour programme is mentored and curated by internationally renowned coaches Ravi Shastri, R Sridhar and Bharath Arun.
Between them, they bring extensive experience of international cricket and high-performance player development.
That expertise helps shape a programme focused not simply on practising more, but on helping players better understand their own games and what they need to do to improve.
What Will Players Work On?
The programme combines technical cricket coaching with physical preparation, match experience and individual analysis.
Players can expect:
Individualised skill-development programmes
Strength & Conditioning (S&C) sessions
Video analysis by head coaches
Practice matches
Technical and tactical development
High-performance training sessions
Opportunities to develop greater awareness of their individual game
Rather than treating every player in exactly the same way, an important part of the experience will be identifying individual areas for development.
Video analysis will help players understand their technique in greater detail, while practice matches provide an opportunity to put what they have learned into a competitive environment.
Experience Cricket in India
There is another important element to the tour that can't be replicated in a normal weekly coaching session – the experience of cricket in India itself.
Different conditions present different challenges.
Batters may need to adapt their method and decision-making, while bowlers have to understand how to use different surfaces and conditions effectively. Players will also experience the intensity and passion surrounding cricket in India.
Learning to adapt is an important part of becoming a more complete cricketer.
The programme will take place across Chennai and Hyderabad, giving players the opportunity to train and experience cricket in two major Indian cricketing centres.
The CB Experience
Away from the technical coaching, the programme has been designed to provide players with a complete high-performance experience.
The package includes:
Local transportation
Accommodation
All meals
A designated liaison officer
Opportunity to watch an IPL match
Final course certification signed by Ravi Shastri
The programme fee is £2,100 for the 10-day High Performance Camp.
Please note that airfare, visa costs and insurance are not included.
Why FCCA Is Organising the Tour
At First Class Cricket Academy, our coaching philosophy has always been about helping players develop the skills and understanding needed to take their cricket further.
Technical development is important, but developing a cricketer involves much more than simply hitting balls or bowling deliveries in the nets.
Players need to learn how to adapt, solve problems, understand their own game and perform when conditions and situations change.
The FCCA High Performance Training Tour to India provides another opportunity to expose ambitious young cricketers to those challenges.
It complements the technical work players undertake throughout the year at FCCA by giving them the opportunity to experience a completely different high-performance cricket environment.
