Aadi Das Scores 3,007 Runs in an Outstanding 2026 Season

Oct 7
3 min read

FCCA player Aadi Das enjoyed an exceptional 2026 cricket season, finishing the summer with 3,007 runs across 90 innings and establishing himself as a leading run-scorer across county, club, Tier 1 and adult cricket.

Aadi finished the season averaging 44.22, with 17 half-centuries and one century - remarkable consistency across such a large number of innings.

He also contributed with the ball, taking 27 wickets at a strike rate of 23, underlining the all-round development of his game.

3,007 Runs - and Remarkable Consistency

Scoring 3,000 runs in a season is a significant achievement, but the consistency behind Aadi's total makes the numbers even more impressive.

His final 2026 figures were:

  • 3,007 runs

  • 90 innings

  • 44.22 batting average

  • 17 fifties

  • 1 century

  • 27 wickets

  • Bowling strike rate of 23

Aadi's Play-Cricket statistics also show that he scored an impressive 21% of his team's total runs, demonstrating just how important his batting contributions were throughout the season.

His final season total also includes three innings not recorded on Play-Cricket, in which he scored 50 not out, 30 and 30.

Leading the Way for Surrey

  • One of the standout achievements of Aadi's summer came while representing Surrey County CAG.

  • He finished as Surrey County CAG's highest run-scorer, averaging an outstanding 54 with the bat.

  • Performing consistently at county level is an important marker in the development of any young cricketer, and Aadi's ability to continue scoring runs against strong opposition was particularly encouraging.

Dominating Surrey Tier 1 Cricket

  • Aadi was equally consistent for Sutton Cricket Club, finishing as the highest run-scorer for both the U14 and U15 teams in the Surrey Tier 1 League.

  • He was also the highest run-scorer in the U14 Surrey Cup Tier 1 group.

  • These performances came alongside a successful season with Sutton, which included team honours and some memorable tournament performances.

  • Aadi was part of the Esher U14 Festival-winning side and the Raman Subba Row U13 Festival-winning team, where he also finished as the highest run-scorer.

Making His Mark in Adult Cricket

Perhaps one of the most encouraging aspects of Aadi's season was how quickly he adapted to senior cricket.

Playing for Bromley Town 2nd XI, Aadi finished as the team's highest run-scorer in adult cricket despite playing only eight innings.

He averaged 45, with his performances placing him seventh among the leading batters in the Kent Cricket League.

Moving from junior cricket into adult cricket presents a very different challenge. Bowlers are more experienced, match situations are different and young players have to learn quickly.

For Aadi to step into that environment and produce runs so consistently is a significant achievement.

Runs Across Different Levels

What makes Aadi's 2026 season particularly impressive isn't simply the final total of 3,007 runs.

It is where those runs were scored.

From Surrey County CAG and Surrey Tier 1 cricket to school, club and adult league cricket,

Aadi repeatedly had to adjust to different standards, conditions, formats and match situations.

Finishing as a leading run-scorer across several of those environments demonstrates the consistency he developed throughout the summer.

Along the way, there were plenty of memorable moments, including scoring his second century for the Surrey Talent Pathway/SACS and contributing to successful teams across the season.

More Than Just Runs

While the batting numbers naturally attract attention, Aadi continued to develop other areas of his cricket as well.

His 27 wickets at a strike rate of 23 demonstrate his ability to contribute with the ball and provide another dimension to his game.

At FCCA, however, development isn't measured purely by runs, wickets or awards.

Every innings - successful or otherwise - provides something to learn from. The challenge now is to take everything Aadi experienced during this exceptional season and use it as the foundation for the next stage of his development.

2026: A Season to Remember

  • 3,007 runs. 17 fifties. A century. 27 wickets.

  • Highest run-scorer for Surrey County CAG.

  • Highest run-scorer for Sutton U14 and U15 in Surrey Tier 1 cricket.

  • Highest run-scorer in the U14 Surrey Cup Tier 1 group.

  • Highest run-scorer for Bromley Town 2nd XI in his adult cricket appearances.

  • And approximately 21% of his team's runs across his Play-Cricket record.

It has been an outstanding summer for FCCA's Aadi Das, but perhaps the most exciting part is that this is still very much a development journey.

Congratulations to Aadi on a superb 2026 season and to all the coaches, teammates, clubs and family who have supported him along the way.

Now attention turns to winter training, continuing to improve and preparing for an even bigger challenge in 2027.
