FIRST CLASS COACHING
In order to coach at the highest level, FCCA firmly believes you need to have played at Premier League first team level or above.
Respect and understanding with our students is earned and not assumed; it is demonstrated through player proficiency and nuance, a craft learned at the crease and not from a textbook. This core competency, along with a close affiliation with county cricket clubs ensures that many students go on to represent county and beyond.
Currently, approximately one third of FCCA students are members of county age group squads and academies, with the balance either working towards this goal, or simply seeking to hone their technique to enhance their enjoyment of the game.
All of our coaches are qualified, established players themselves, with impressive track records. Find out more about them here. Players of all abilities, are taught weekly by experienced coaches, on a one-to-one basis, or in small groups, with sessions lasting 1-3 hours.
FCCA coach Raj Chaudhuri and his team are now happy and his team are now happy to visit you at home or at your club during the summer to conduct one-to-one or group sessions. Sessions can be technical, tactical or on game plans and mindset. Please contact us on 07961 574314 for more details.
FREE TASTER SESSION
FCCA aims to bring together groups of talented and ambitious cricketers who demonstrate a genuine love and natural aptitude for the game. If this sounds like your child, come along to one of our three hour taster sessions, where they will be given the opportunity to train alongside other like-minded students.
These sessions will allow the coach to asses your child’s cricketing ability and their capacity to take instruction, and from there, make recommendations as to how best to progress their playing performance; which may be joining one of the groups or perhaps to embarking on a course of individual coaching first.
Please contact us for more information.
GROUP CRICKET COACHING
Following an initial assessment, players are divided into small groups of similar abilities with whom they will train and grow together.
Groups are organised around player ability and not age, meaning that coaching is of
equal relevance to all participants. Sessions are no larger than six children and take part at Worth and Imberhorne schools, season dependent. Sessions see each player rotate between all the cricketing disciplines meaning that where ability allows, batters will face bowlers to emulate playing conditions where possible.
Group sessions mirror school terms and last for 10 - 13 weeks

Sessions take place at Worth School and Imberhorne School, East Grinstead, and are organised into both group and individual sessions depending on ability and availability. Group sessions are structured by playing level (beginner, intermediate and advanced) and are designed to support players aged six to twenty in a positive and challenging environment.

Following the summer programme, players will transition back into our winter coaching programme from September.
INDIVIDUAL CRICKET COACHING

CRICKET CAMPS
Run during the school holidays, Cricket Camps are an excellent way to introduce beginners to the game, as well as enabling more experienced children to improve their game. Cricket Camps utilise the remarkable facilities of Worth School, or at Imberhorne School, and are timed to coincide with both independent and state school holidays. Children from the age of eight are taught the basics of cricket through a series of fun exercises and games.
